You'll find "vintage" Southwest ambiance, "brilliant sun and friendly faces" at this "relaxed" resort for both business and leisure; loyalists laud the "considerate" staff, the "ultracozy" beds and the freeway location convenient to the airport, zoo and shopping malls, but dissenters describe rooms with a slighty "shabby" sheen, saying it "needs weather stripping, soundproofing" ("I could hear a couple arguing on one side and a baby crying on the other") and new "bathroom fixtures."

Centrally located to the Phoenix area.
I
asked for 1 king, got 2 queens, ruined all the available space.

Good hotel, not much room to relax in. Good location friendly staff. Good exercise area.

Staff is friendly - good location.
Doors were not in the best condition - it looked like someone struggled to get in.

it is a nice place to stay - it is close to many activities, shopping, airport, etc. Beds were comfortable - but the walls were thin.

Nice and comfortable bed.
Only allowed to stay one day instead of two because of overbooking.

The hotel was nice and clean, but we couldn't enjoy a two day stay because the hotel was overbooked. They sent us to another hotel that wasn't as nice. The desk personnel were helpful but since I was checking in at 9 pm, I really didn't want to go to another location in a city I was not familiar with. ...read more
